This Alloy is a low Carbon Containing metal. Furthermore, the alloy has been stabilized by the addition of Niobium to the Chemistry of the DIN 2.4660 Flat Bar. The inclusion of nickel and chromium in the chemistry of the alloy is what gives the Alloy 20 Round Bar fantastic resistance to corrosion, especially in chemical environments. The higher content of Nickel in the alloy is what improves the high-temperature behaviour of the Alloy 20 welding rod.
